The Forest Calls

The Forest Calls began with a desire to express old growth forests, yet it was my local forests that continually called for expression.
 
These forests are the ones that impact my daily mind. These forests with their dappled light, their thick and heady air, their quiet stillness of boisterous voices and restless activity. These forests are the ones that called.
 
In the upper branches of the centre tree, a Douglas Fir, I included a branch that could grow to be like the right angle branch on Vancouver Island's famous Big Lonely Doug. Luv you Doug.
